Love the content, guys! My only beef is with the recent BA/Pipeline-centric podcast over which players were misranked by either site. I’d argue that Mo Baller *deserves* the higher ranking based on how the Cubs have treated him to this point (aggressive promotions, etc.) Also, I can’t help but think that his name came up a LOT at the trading deadline, and the fact that Jed *didn’t* move him is a real endorsement from Upper Management. He might not be top-100, but I’d hear an argument for top-125.
Hey, this is all really good analysis, Thomas! Playing devils advocate (I don’t necessarily agree with this at all) I could say that the fact that he wasn’t a part of a deadline deal would say the Cubs value him more than the rest of the league which could actually be a knock on Mo Baller. In reality, I would argue Moises’ case for top 100 status wayyyy harder than the other two 1B/DH type bats.
