A full-time teacher, writing about and photographing Cub prospects has been a hobby of mine for quite a while. I first got hooked on baseball via baseball cards growing up in the 70s. That fascination continues to this day. I tend to go to a lot of South Bend Cubs in the western division as I live in northern Illinois with my wife and 4 dogs.
Thanks for the picks. I attended several games in Davenport in 1979 when they were the Quad Cities Cubs and a kid (whole 4 years younger than me, Ed Mohr) was playing for them. I still am owed a Kentucky Fried dinner for having a winning number in the between inning drawing (KFC’s were closed after game).
