I’ve been on a bit of a stats streak recently, diving into my spreadsheets that are featured here in the Stats Database at NSB, and even starting the process of developing my own offensive metric (but more on that this offseason)!
While I’ve made very clear that you can’t possibly come away with everything you need to know about a prospect by simply scouting his stat line, it’s important to remember that numbers *are* important, specifically the ones “under the hood.”
For some fun with numbers, here are a collection of stats from the past few days or so that I’ve found extra interesting.
(Remember — stats from two days ago are already old, so I’ll do my best to place them here in chronological order starting with yesterday’s performances.)
