As I mentioned this morning in The Breakdown this morning that it was difficult to pick our Hitter of the Week as both players just raked. Pete Crow-Armstrong hit .480 and had an OPS of 1.159 while Alexander Canario was smoking hot at .500 and 1.536 with 4 dingers and 9 RBI.
However, for Minor League Baseball, they did not have to make such a distinction.
So, this morning MiLB named Canario the Player of the Week in the Midwest League and Crow-Arsmtrong in the Carolina League. Strangely enough, MiLB listed Canario as belonging to the Padres in Fort Wayne. Oh, that MiLB!
This is the second week in a row the Cubs have had two Players of the Week!

I saw him all last week and he’s not necessarily overmatched, just making some bad choices. At the plate
