There is no slowing down the James Triantos bandwagon at this point. There hasn’t been a day go by where the 2021 second round pick and Cubs Twitter darling hasn’t been talked about in Cubs prospect circles.

Now he’s being talked about by fans that typically stick to just the MLB Cubbies.

In his first MLB Spring Training game, Triantos strolled to the plate as a mid-game sub and promptly did what he does best — record two singles, both up the middle and both on 0-2 pitches.

That second hit was off a pretty good pitcher, too. As pointed out by Brad on Twitter, Davis Daniel is ranked as the 13th best prospect in the Angels system, is 25-years-old, and is coming off a stellar season. But not even two first names could keep Triantos from doing his thing.
